Hi i have to read this book ....... be4 next thurday. i read it but i still dont get it..... so now i need help with some questions lik ........ List n describle the main character......... Summarize the giver....... Show ur thoughts n ideas , people n events in the book not on whether u like it or dislike it. please help me if u do a GREAT job helping me u will get 10 points.

The book is very easy and so are these questions. I don't think you read the book. I will not help you, and shame on those who do.

Aleana - do your own homework. . .it's good practice.
That said, start by deciding who you think the main characters are. . .probably the Giver, the boy, are there any others? To summarise a book, start with the main plot points - what happened in the first chapter? The last chapter? The middle chapter? Then try and fill in how the writer got from each of your 'highlight' chapters to the next - bullet points usually help to start with. Now move on into the book and you - do you relate to any particular character? Any event? Why do you think Lois wrote this book? Is there a moral to the story?
Ultimately, though, it's going to be very difficult if you haven't actually read the book. If you haven't, please do - it's a wonderful book.
