England is it if you are not willing to learn another language. Most people in Sweden, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and even most of Germany and France speak English, but only as a second language. You don't learn their language, and you will have a hard time finding a job there. That leaves Britain. That said, you could probably manage Scotland or Wales or maybe even Ireland, but England will give you the least amount of dialectal problems. Now, where in England you go depends on your preferences. Want a big city? London's your place, because the other large cities are kind of dirty. Well, London is pretty filthy, too, but it has a lot of culture to make up for it. There are lots of more rural places to consider, too. All that aside, why would you want to move there? I love candy, but I wouldn't eat it everyday. Make sure you have this well thought out before you do it, or you'll be throwing a lot of money away and then floating back home broke. Unemployment is high in Britain. Qualifications for jobs are different. It's easier said than done, but if it's your dream, then go for it! Good luck!

The best and cheapest way to travel in Europe is by renting
a car. But since you come from the U.K. Driving here is on
the right side different from the U.K. It would be difficult in
the biginning but you will get used to it. Since you are
travelling with your boy friend then you have someone to
correct you when making a mistake. This will happen often
in the biginning. I Drove to England from Germany a few
years back and I know hot strange it is to drive the other
way round.
I would recommend Italy, Switzerland, Germany.and France.
These are great places to visit.

I recommend a country with English as an official language. Malta is one of them. In Malta, a high percentage of the people know how to speak English, and since English is an official language, certain things are also in English. E.g. Roadsigns, newspapers, letters from the bank, e.t.c.

Language is an important consideration, but first...do you know how difficult it is to "move' to a European country? It is very difficult to get a work visa in any foreign country. You must be highly skilled and highly educated. You must find a job BEFORE you will be granted a work visa. You will need to have sufficient , provable income to support yourself while getting settled. Where you go could easily be defined by where you can obtain a job and work visa. See website below to begin your research into obtaining a work visa to the United Kingdom. Other European countries have similar requirements.

Well, I can tell you that the countries where you will have the less dificulty to speak english with locals will be scandinavian countries (Denmark included) and the Netherlands as well as Portugal and Greece.
France, Germany, Spain and Italy...locals thinks they don't have to speak any other language other than theirs
