Zip files means the music files are compressed to speed the download. You need to unzip them to make them usable. If your OS is a newer one you should be able to open them and save unzipped without a problem.
Or you could download a software like WinZIP to open the files and save unzipped.

use winrar or winzip to unizip them...the music should be inside... here's the link for winrar http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm click the top link, version 3.7, download and install, and then use winrar to unzip the zip files and voila

Simply unzip them.
