Greetings! The very best pizza I have ever had is a place in Petaluma, CA called "Old Chicago" Pizza. The name says it all. They served the very best pizza I have ever sen and yes, it is Chicago style.
For those of you who do not know what Chicago style, it is a your regular pizza, but after it is baked the first time, a second layer of cheese is spread across the pizza, completely covering it, then it is re-baked. When you bite into it, there are two layers of cheese....one at the very top and at the bottom with all your favorite toppings in between. It's my all time favorite.
Also, in defense of those who do not know what Chicago style is, I must admit I am not aware of the different style that is both Brooklyn and Boston. When someone posts their opinion, it would be cool for you to describe what that style is you enjoy, not just giving the name.
Take care, and thanks.
