If the material is a natural fabric - cotton, wool, etc. hydrogen peroxide will make it disappear like magic! It may work on a blend or synthetic - according to what it is. O therwise, you can always fall back on the old ice application. It would take longer and you must be careful not to rub the spot so hard that the fabric gets fuzzy. Be patient!

Try taking asprin (real asprin) make a paste with it and with a damp cloth dab it onto the fabric. This should not hurt the color. Let it sit for about an hour and then with a "cold" wet cloth try to blot it out. If it's still there then put some peroxide on a cloth and try that (but note that could affect the color).

A solution of bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar with water - dab on with a damp cloth - dab off with a dry one ... you will have to persevere but it does work and doesn't take the colour out of any materials so leaving a 'light' patch ....
alternatively use the same method with Vanish carpet and upholstery cleaner......

Squeeze the juice of a lemon onto it then sponge off with warm water - might be a bit of a mission depending on how much blood and how dry it is !!

Oxyclean. For all the hype and all the commercials - this product really takes care of blood stains. Spray it on and watch it bubble and lift the stain in minute.
