I'm selling a .91 diamond engagement ring set in a plain platinum setting. Paid $5,800, don't have ...

... all the details in front of me but it's a nice ring. It wasn't worth $5,800 but since he went to Ben Bridge that's what it cost. Anyway, do you think $2,000 is too much to get for it on Craig's List?

Call a reputible jewelry store, ask how much they charge for appraisals. You may get more if you have written proof.

thats ok. try ebay. youll get the most for it. open ended auction starting at 2 k would work.
