no you will have to cut it off and replace it

If it is PVC pipe, cut the cap off. The glue for this eats into the pipe and will not budge without breaking the pipe.

Easiest thing to do is hacksaw it off and redo a new fitting. That glue isn't meant to be removed. So if you do manage to get if off, without damaging it, it's going to take a lot of work and patience. Heating it up and cooling it quickly might work. I've used that for other type of glued joints.

You may be able to pry it off with a blade or you may be able to cut through the pipe (if its plastic) just below the cap .... however why would you want to do this unless you are extending the pipe?
