Not heard of a specific release date yet, just november.
I doubt you'll need to pre-order it. There's usually a deluge of titles round that time, so, unless it really stands out, i can't see it being too much of a problem getting it.
Can't help you with the PC/360 dilemma (i have a PS3 and a naff PC)
as for ring of death;

it is not in any respect too late to get right into a sequence. i latterly dived into God of warfare with the PS3 sequence, then bought God of warfare III. you could play any game you like earlier taking part in Revelations, because of the fact each game is newcomer friendly and makes leaps and limits over the previous game. so some distance Brotherhood is the main appropriate game do no longer sweat the story, you could continuously pass returned to the previous video games in case you desire to adventure them firsthand. to decrease confusion, all you are going to be able to desire to comprehend is the main significant character, Desmond, is descended from an prolonged line of assassins, and each new numbered section will function a clean murderer and term.
