Does anyone find it hard to eat healthy while being pregnant. Ive never really ate as well as i should have before i got pregnant. I love taco bell lol and i wanna get it for dinner but i just had it over the weekend. But that's the first time ive had it in awhile. I eat a banana with breakfast each morning and im eating fruit cups (dole). I don't do any caffiene, im not even eating chocolate anymore, only decafe coffee, and of course i dont' smoke, drink, or do drugs. My ? is....will fast food obviously not every day but 2 a month or every great once in a while hurt the baby. Its soo hard to not eat that stuff...plus i hate cooking so its so easy to get.

I can't imagine that a couple fast food meals a month would hurt your sweet little baby.
You sound very sensible.

It's actually pretty normal to detest a food you'd normally love to eat. Some people say it's the baby craving things. I don't know about that, though. Before I was pregnant with twins, I absolutely LOVED Papa John's pizza. Then once I was pregnant, the smell of it made me nauseous. I ended up eating guacamole every day, which is a healthy 'snack.' In the mornings, what you might try is eating Quaker bars. I get the 90 calorie ones, and I find they make a great snack, even throughout the day. They have apple, dark chocolate cherry, oatmeal raisin and some other flavors. If you are able to and have the time, walking or swimming makes a great exercise while pregnant. That way, you won't have to worry all the time about what you eat, as you'll be active and it won't matter as much.

2 much fast food is not good for the baby. the baby gets the food from what you eat. If you eat junk you feed your baby junk and it will not grow properly or develop the way it should. If you HAVE to eat out SOMETIMES be sure to take a prenatal vitamin everyday this will help when you don't get all that you need in a day. And get used to the cooking, you will have to cook for that little one soon enough. Eating out is not good for young nor older children either on a daily basis. You have to think of their heart and their development then as well as now. Is this any help to you?

No it won't hurt the baby. As long as you're getting all the nutrients that your baby needs there's nothing wrong with having fast food. Just be careful not to eat it every day like I did....I gained 70 pounds because I went off of the theory "I'm eating for two!"

If you're eating healthy every day a little fast food would be OK. Note it on the calendar, say, every 9 days. You must remember to write it down, tho, just put FF on the day you had it. Very important also is to not gain weight during the pregnancy. Too much overindulgence. It's far better to stay at your regular weight (OK, add 3#). When you deliver, you won't be disgusted by the fat you laid on.

Well you shouldn't eat it everyday, but twice in one week won't hurt! Everyone indulges in their favorite foods while pregnant! I did! It won't hurt your baby! No worries. =]
