I do not know what to do

Take some coffee mugs and fill them with vinegar. Attatch cling wrap to the top of the mugs and use a rubber band to secure them. Poke little holes in the top of the wrap, a fork works well. They'll crawl in because they're attracted to the smell but can not get out and will die.

Also, check everywhere for any rotting food. I had a bag of potatoes that I completely forgot about because it was in a cabinet I don't normally use.

These may seem like stupid questions/statements, BUT...

Have you checked to make sure you dont have any garbage spills anywhere... My fridge leaked icky stuff a few months ago and I found gnats everywhere afterwards... I opened all the windows, and bleached the kitchen...no gnats since then... Also do you have any flowers or vegetation out and about in your house? They may be attracted to it...
If all else fails you could use one of those toxic sprays, but they really stink and are not good for the environment...

Take out the trash! Gnats are attracted to decaying food.

Initially spray all your rooms with fly spray and shut the doors for half an hour - then air all the rooms - then get some net curtains to hang over your windows and open doorways - spray these with fly killer (once a week should do) - I doubt if you'll have any problems after this .....

Get rid of all the stuff they are attracted too, dirty dishes, open food, water, etc. Check out some bug sprays that don't smell too bad and are safe for indoors. Good luck!

Also, they really like fruit, If you leave it out on table, I put mine in refrigerator, even though they say not to.
