I have to get this off my chest: EwWwWwW!!!!

Okay . . . I feel much better, now! ;)

With respect to the folks who say to clip your nails after washing or soaking, let me point out that softer nails are harder to cut, so you replace one problem with another!

Anyway, you could use a nail scissor instead of a clipper; the problem is that it'll take longer, and won't be as smooth.

Try using smaller cuts. Most people start on one end of the nail, and keep cutting until they get the whole thing in one, big old, piece. Instead, go a quarter of the way, and then turn the clipper 90 degrees to cut off that segment. It'll take longer, and may not be as smooth as a "single" cut, but it should be easier to control (or not!). ;)

And thank you for NOT using public transportation! ;)

Wash or soak your nails ( hands, feet) in warm water with soap for a minute or 2. this will soften the nails and they will clip easy and won't fly away. Nails fly away because they are brittle. Or try clipping after you take a bath/ shower.

There are nail clippers with like a backing on them and they hold the nail bits in them. They work really good, my friend had one, I don't know where she got it. Try walmart.
