I'm the same! I hate hearing the alarm in the morning!

I set my alarm about half an hour earlier than I want to get up to allow myself pressing the snooze button about 5 times before I get up!

Yes, it is very annoying when you have to get up so early in the morning. Personally, I wake up at 5 o clock in the morning every single day. I researched the topic, and found some main reasons why humans are so sleepy in the A.M.

If the problem is that you're tired in the morning, the solution is to let the sunshine in. Your natural sleep cycle just isn't in sync with when you wake up. But if you open up the curtain as soon as the alarm rings, the light can help you reset your brain so you'll feel awake. =]

Yes! I hate the horrible annoying noise they make so much that I can't press snooze because i know I'll have to hear it again, i just get straigt out of bed. I hate it when my partner presses snooze more... especially when I don't have to get up at all. I even refuse to buy anything which has that noise on the advertisments too... bleurgh!

I hate the alarm clock. I have to get my hubby up when it goes off. It wakes me up but it won't wake him up. When he get's up after I've pressed snooze 2-3 times I get so confused because I'm still half asleep & can't find the off switch that I just unplug it, lol.

My first alarm goes off at 5.15, that's the mobile. I have the house phone set to go off at 6 am (this is when I'm on an early), I hate that because it costs money.

I hate the phone ringing before 8am when I'm NOT on an early because it means work wants me to do an extra shift, which I usually say yes to.

I set mine to the most obnoxious radio station around,it has this horrible shock-jockey and plays 70's rock, really bad stuff like "My Woman in Tokyo". I set it far enough from my bed I have to jump up to shut it off. Yes,I hate it but it gets me going. You're not going to sleep through all that, that's for sure. Especially set to maximum volume. I've been doing this since college. Then I got married. Within two weeks my wife was threatening to leave me if I didn't stop setting my alarm like this. Finally she gave in,basically because I couldn't, because then I would oversleep. But for the first ten minutes of every weekday morning, hey, she hates my guts.

I never hear it because I always wake up a few minutes before it is set to go off. Disgustingly, I get RIGHT up and never hit snooze.
