I am sooo bummed out! I do Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy and Herbs. I just opened a new place in Phonex and the guy down the block took it upon him self to allert the police that a massage parlor opened. He never even walked through the doors to see what I do here,,,,, PERVERT!
Im not allowed to use the word massage unless I get a "special user permit" and yet Im liscensed. I don't want my business to be known as a massage parlor so I use the word manipulave medicine,,,,hahahahahaha

In every city there are rules that must be followed in order to practice. The guy down the block knew this. From what you have said id didn't seem like he was alerting the cops to you doing anything perverted...so calling him a pervert...kind of harsh.
Do yourself a favor and get the permit. Also go over every detail in the laws surrounding Massage Therapy in the Phoenix area. This way you won't have any other altercations.

I could use a good "massage" parlor. in all seriousness people need to stop judging before they actually know what is going on.

Most massage therapists I know are licenced. If the law states that you need a special permit to advertise it properly, get it. Does your licence state that you are a "manipulative medicine provider"?
