What would you recommend to someone who loves the musical stylings of the White Stripes?

I love this band. I have for many years. I love the simplicity, the lyrics, the funky sound and vibe. I also enjoy BECK And the Racontuers. I am looking for newer bands with a similar sound but maybe I missed some older stuff. HELP!

Have you ever watched the dvd extras from the movie Cold Mountain? How about the Soundtrack from that movie? I like the duet with Loretta Lynn.
