My guess is that Monopoly (the idea, not the game) is a capitalist thing. He doesn't want people to pick up on it because it goes against the ideals of the revolution I guess.

Because that game sucks and it drains hours of your life. By the end of the night its 2:00 in the morning and your like **** this game. Your all a bunch of cheaters, where did my pink fifties go!

That's because the game has transformed into a model for today's capitalistic system. It's ironic because the originator of the game developed it to show the inadequacies of the capitalistic system.

The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
