Disagree.. don't get me wrong.. I think Ahmadinejad is a fruit loop... but he wants attention more than anything else.. and if he actually started a Holocaust it's not like Russia or China would still back him.. so what political power would he have left? He is smart enough to know to stop at just talk rather than to unite the Westernized Worlds with their militaries... I mean .. seriously... all of NATO and the EU .. along with most UN nations would come down on his head.. it wouldn't be good for him. Now that doesn't mean that I think we should give him the keys to a nuclear reactor.. I'm just saying the guy is more bark than bite.

I think Bush should be careful how he uses 'hot button' words such as 'holocaust' in a region that's already bubbling over in heated rhetoric. Iran says their nuclear program is for energy (maybe) and others say it's for weapons (maybe), but being wary after Iraq... where's the proof? Ahmadinejad is no 'cute puppy' but rhetoric is common and he's not even in charge of Iran's military.

I hope it's merely coincidence and that we are not seeing a pattern, similiar to that of pre-Iraq invasion, developing with Iran. I found this article from last month to be particularly disturbing because it pointed out that Bush and Cheney appear to think that dealing with Iran is something only they can handle:

Then I got an email last week pointing to a new video that compares the similiarities between FOX news items about Iraq prior to the invasion and recent FOX news items about Iran. I can't confirm this since I don't watch FOX, but here's the link to the video and transcript:
