Depending on your home life. Your wife may not know how to show you that she appreciates all that you do. I think that you need to plan an evening that you know she will enjoy and take the time to talk with her. Take time to talk any time you are concerned. Communication is the # 1 key to any relationship.

Maybe so much has happened in the past, she doesn't trust anything you do or say. Show her there is nothing to be afraid of from you emtionally, and maybe she won't run and hide if emtionally if you are in the same room.
Maybe there is an area where you need to get you act together and follow thru. Show her something about you that is for real. And I don't mean helping super models cross the street, like a some fake hero.

Well I was just discussing that with her the other day! She says she does appreciate you! Said she wishes you would tell her what she can do to show you, you know, things that she may take for granted but mean something to you. She also said that it would be nice if you asked her what you can do to make her feel appreciated. Some days our mind reading skills are just so out of whack and a little conversation is all we need to set us off in the right direction. Best luck. :)
