Thinking about buying an old Honda Pacific Coast 800. It's an ugly color, and beat up. It's mostly luggage and fairing plastic. Can plastics be painted? Where can I get this done, Los Angeles, and how much will it cost? Should I dismantle the motorcycle myself and just bring the parts that need paint?

A PC, huh? That's a lot of plastic!
Yes, plastic can be painted. You will want to do the disassembly yourself, labor costs. You will also know how it goes back together when the parts come back. I can't help with a paint shop, any decent one should be able to fix you up.

Tupperware, that's good.
My first thought on seeing one: "Ouch" (my eyes hurt)

Yes it can be painted. However, it is best if you remove all the pieces yourself and take them to any vehicle paint shop. Because of the number of small pieces, you may have to check several places, and end up with a smaller business.
