My wife has been taking Clomed for three cycles now, and it seems that when she is taking it she gets poed at me really easily. Is this normal from your experience?

Oh yeah!

My poor husband. i just finished taking my fifth cycle of Clomid about a week ago. All he has to do is blink the wrong way and I'm irritated. It last about two weeks, starting right around when I'm finishing my five days on Clomid. Sometimes I don't even know why I'm upset, I just am!!!! Just the other day my husband says to me "are you mad?" and I said "yep" and when he asked me why I didn't have an answer. I just felt angry and upset.

Go easy on her, cut her some slack. I know you're not sounding mad at her in your question. I was just putting it out there because I know what she's going through.

Good luck TTC!! Hopefully you and her won't have to worry about a fourth cycle of Clomid!!

This question made me laugh cause I could just see my husband writing the same question. I feel so sorry for you husbands some times but no always ha ha!! I was a moody madam when I was on Clomid - I just couldnt help it. Hopefully your wife wont be on it long and she will be expecting and then she can blame you for that too!!!!!

I feel pregnant on the second dose but unfortunately miscarriaged so back on the Clomid so your not the only husband out there with a moody wife!!!

Hope all goes well for you both.

Yes, Clomid will do that. I actually am really moody normally, and when I started Clomid, I was a lot more calm lol. Most women do get mood swings and hot flashes. You just have to be there for her, as she is probably stressed to the max of trying to get pregnant. Good Luck!!!

I just finished my second round and I wasn't moody at all. I am a little more sensitive to things like sad movies and stuff but no bad mood swings. It has actually helped with my PMS symptoms as well. Clomid can cause women to be moody but also the stress of trying to get pregnant can add to it. Just do your best to please her and keep her calm. My husband has been bringing me flowers home and just being overly nice and cooking dinner and stuff. Just hang in there. It will all be worth it when you get a baby.

Mood Issues
Fertility medications and hormones in general are often blamed for the foul mood of any woman of childbearing age.
That said, increasing hormones can be a recipe for altered moods or mood swings. Most women find these to be temporary, usually lasting just during the actual days that you take the medication or a day or two later.

OMG, I felt horribly moody on it. My husband tiptoed around me and I STILL got mad. I would scream at other drivers, yell at the paper boy, etc. They had me on 250mg, and it felt like something was under my skin irritating me all the time. If they add the HCG shots, run away, far away!
Good luck.

Yes, it is normal. Clomid effects hormones which can cause mood swings.

I think you mean Clomid, fertility drug. And yes, mood swings is a very common side effect.

She is probably moody and stressed because she wants a baby and it is not happening as easily as she would like
