how many weeks can you determine if you're pregnant? in other words, how many weeks before a home pregnancy test can determine a pregnancy? thanks!

2 weeks after conception a home pregnancy test is over 99% accurate. And since pregnancy is dated from last menstrual period that would mean you could test at 4 weeks pregnant.

You can take a home pregenantcy test 4 to 5 days before your first missed period. That is the soonest you can test and sometimes even then it might be too early. Wait until the first day of your missed period to be certain.

Anytime after 3 weeks from the first day of your last period. I tested positive at 3 weeks.

A HPT can show positive around 3.5 weeks from your LMP (1.5 weeks after conception). However, if you receive a negative you may want to test again a few days later to be sure. Good Luck.

I found out at 9DPO, 5 days before my missed period.

some can tell after 10 dpo....some not until 14 dpo or later....
