As shes going to be 13, I want to get her a special necklace thats not too babyish, and something she will remember from her 13th birthday. If anyone knows of anywhere, I would be very grateful! Thank you!

Look up "dichroic glass" - there are some gorgeous pendants out there, every one is individual, not too babyish but also not too grown up, and not a ridiculous price so it wouldn't be the end of the world if something happened to it. I always think it's a shame to be given jewellry that's so special you don't dare wear it.

I tell you what I think is the coolest thing...it's called a prayer box. I have one and I absolutely love it. I got one for my daughter a couple of years ago too and she loves hers. (She is now 14). You can usually find them in Christian gift shops or on-line. I didn't get mine on-line, I got it in a Christian book store in a mall close by my house. I added some links below that will show where what they look like and places where you can order them. You can also get them in bracelet form and as a ring. I like the necklace the best though.
Most of them are empty and the saying goes that you add your prayers to it. I took a long thin piece of paper and added several prayers that were near and dear to me and wrote them down on the paper. Then I rolled it up and placed it in the box. I wear it all the time. As my prayers are answered, I cross them off the list.
You can find them in all price ranges. The one I have is solid silver, but you can get them in real gold and silver plated. Just depends on how much money you want to spend. They all represent the same thing.

Actually walmart has some pretty decent ones. I just bought one for someone there. I wasn't even there to look at the lockets it just happened to catch my eye. I was going to get it at a place like J C Penny or a store like that

Go to James Avery. They have nice stuff and you can get pendants that represent things she likes to do.
