There is no such thing as a bad morning. Think about it.
What is it that makes something bad? 'Bad' is a value judgement; a comparison with what is going on that falls short of your expectations. It occurs entirely in your mind.
And who is in control of your mind but you?
If you don't like the way a morning is going, ask yourself why you don't like it and change that. Or ask yourself why you can't like it... you'll usually find that you COULD like it if you only adopted the proper mental framework.
So you walked a mile to school. Enjoy the walk. Freaking out won't get you to school any sooner. So you forgot an assignment at home. You can't change what has already happened. Work on your next assignment, or spend another day revising it (maybe you'll make it good enough in the extra day to offset the penalty you get for being late).
Don't worry about what is done and what is beyond your control. Just do what you can do; if you've done your best, nobody can reasonably expect more than that. Not even you.

Never mind, or, mind in another way. Think a brilliant strategy.
Let's say that if was you who missed the bus. Walking gives you a chance to rest your eyes on a lot more things than you would see from the bus, and you may even say speedily good morning to others, and to strangers, you meet on your way. You can meet many in a mile, and the sun might even shine, a mild scenting morning glow.
The assignment at home has got a chance to be re-revised, and possibly improved, if you can deliver it the next day, or the third day, and the teacher may be happy to make a new agreement with you.
Good luck!

Don't need to take a while to think about it. Your forgotten school assignment was only a distraction from a golden opportunity to see the beauty that matters. Don't tell me what was on your mind and disturbing it. Tell me what you missed seeing on your forced walk. What flowers or birds did you pass? What blades of grass. Where would you plant a seed of Hope? Is there a patch of ground along your walk where a flower might grow wild?

Change your thinking...Yeah that may have happen to you but guess what you can still get to school
and turn in the assignments the next day.
Think about the people who cant go to school
dont have parents
no home
no food
and no legs to walk to school.
Become grateful for the things you have, You never know maybe you missed the bus because GOD wanted you to find $100 dollars on your way.

Just take it one thing at a time. Look for the everyday joys, a friendly greeting, a shared smile, shared laughter, time spent with someone who makes you happy and who is happy to be around you. And have hope that the next day will bring even more of these opportunities for simple joy.
Best wishes to all,
