It's August 28th. I got my period on August 4 and it lasted til the 10th. My periods usually only last 3 days so I was kind of surprised. And now the other day, the 26th, I got it again......can someone tell me why? I'm thinking about calling my gynecologist, but I thought I'd see what people here had to say. Thanks all! Oh and i'm 27 and I'm not on birth control.....so idk, can you help me?

There are different things that can affect your cycle, stress, medicine, low body fat...I would definitely call your doc. & set up an apt. & see what's going on...

I'm thinking this is the first time u got your period because in the Begining it comes off and on it's going to be like that for a couple of months

Do you have any female conditions that you know of? Have you had intercourse in the last 30 or so days, maybe you are pregnant?
Sometimes you just have a stressful month and WaLa, you get another period.
I wouldnt worry about it once, but if it happens often, its time to see a doctor.
