Auschwitz, Bergenbelsen, and so forth were all Nazi concentration camps where the Jews lived and were exterminated. The odds of survival were about 28 to 1.

Concentration camps.
Some have been turned into museums. I'm not sure I would have the strength to go there. But I saw a woman who was kept there; she lost her parents there. She now lives in America, and re-visited with her son, who became a Rabbi. It was very moving to hear her story, and if she could do it, through faith in God, then I could manage it, too.

They were called concentration camps, because they concentrated all the people in one area. I believe the one to which you refer was Auschwitz-Berkenau.
