I don't. That's why I send my kids to private schools, but I'm interesting in hearing what you have to say.

Trust politicians ? If their not on the take then they are not politicians. Most are corrupt. They also have been promising better education for the last 50 yrs. and look at the drop out rate. You may pay extra for a private school, but in the long run your children may receive a much better education..You wont find any politicians children in public schools, but you will be paying for their education in one way or another.

THIS is not a bush bash issue, not everything is Bush's fault. Now teachers and parents also need to take responsibility for our children's education, it starts in the classroom and ends at home, where parents make sure homework is done, checking homework, making sure Homework is done before other after school activities, Reinforcing to there kids that SCHOOL IS NUMBER 1,

Now also Mayor's and Governors need to make sure that they are balancing there budget correctly to ensure the school districts are getting the apporpiate funds.

Not everything that goes wrong is Bush's fault, people need to take personal responsibility for there kids and own actions, you can't keep blaming society or Bush for every single thing

Also be careful in sending your kids to private school. Teaches who teach in those schools don't have to be certified teachers which means anyone can be a teacher at that perticular school.

I don't think politicians could screw up public education more then public schools already have. Given a chance they probably could.

NO, I do trust most local and State governments though. ( Since I live in Miami I wouldn't trust ANY local government either).
