Just today, right now.....for me, it's a good man waiting at home for me, a good job with two terrific bosses, a good family although they're spread all over the country, and good friends that I can rely on. Most of all, I'm grateful that God called and I heard Him.

I am most grateful for my relationship with the Lord. I am grateful that my daughter still lives, even if she is living off of a dialysis machine! I am grateful that my health is good! I am grateful that I awoke this morning to see another day! I am grateful for my family (what's left) and for my friends! I am grateful that we can still worship God, freely but, not so openly, anymore! I am grateful that I have shelter, food and clothing. I could go on but, let's say....God has blessed me and I am very grateful for those blessings too!

I'm grateful because I just got back from a visit to the doctor. He said my lungs sound good and clear (I have COPD, so that's really good news) and he's not concerned about my weight or my blood pressure.
Had the usual labs done, and need an appointment to do a barium swallow to find out about the heartburn, but basically, I got a clean bill of health.

As every day, simply being retired. I have the opportunity to do things that I enjoy instead of the daily grind at jobs that I didn't enjoy. No bosses, just my wife, that's enough! For the first time in several years, I have the money to live a simple but comfortable life and the time to live it and I enjoy it.

I am grateful for my life! Everything in my life is in order right now. I have a wonderful man, a sweet 8 year old son, my dream job, time to volunteer to help others, and my bills are paid. God is not just good, he is great!

I got to spend the whole day off, mostly lying around in my man's arms, watching TV, listening to the rain, and telling him how handsome he is and how lucky I am and listen to him tell me how "No, I'm the lucky one." Love is the best feeling in the world. Deep, long-lasting, comfortable love. No matter all the worries and problems I have, I have this to counter all the evil and bad in the world. God is so good. God is love and love is God. We are all blessed to be here.

Like you, being able to live another day. Thankful was able to get connected with a Lady who can help get things to the Reservation which will help THE PEOPLE -- especially the children
