Yes, but i think it was an unintended consequence of the movement. I also think that the feminist movement was bad for women in general. It displaced both gender roles, and made it seem that a stay at home mother was not worth as much as one who went to work (my wife is dealing with self esteeme issues from this). I also think that the feminist movement has been bad for children, who want a loving supportive mother waiting for them when they need their mommy. While the movement has had some good effects, it has had a severly negative impact on our society as a whole.
