he will be arriving next thursday by scheduled csection. My immediate family loves the name so it won't be changed, i just want everyone elses opinions on it good or bad. Thanks

Thumbs up from me - my son's name is Gage. He is going to take a lot of crap Gage=gay though....even worse, my son was a ballet dancer for a few years. He is now a Marine

i like gage but spelled like gauge. and i don't think it sounds good with thomas although i love thomas. Thomas Gage sounds much better. Congrats and good luck

I'm biased, I named my son Thomas.. although not crazy about Gage as there's so many ways for kids to use it to tease him.

Your son will be incessantly made fun of with a name like Gage. You might want to think of the hell his life will be with a name like Gage. I'm really not just making fun of you either. i think too many parents give their kids some trendy sounding name without really thinking this will be their name for the rest of their life. Seriously think about it. What's wrong with George or Tom or Dave. Good classic names that are hard too make fun of.

I already feel sorry for him. It's original and unique, I will give you that. I'm not surprised women seem to like it for that reason. I am a guy with an uncommon first name and I can almost guarantee you that your boy will get picked on at school.
