I think this depends on where you go to school.
Some classes (especially for the upper classmen- Juniors and Seniors) have electives- classes not required but that would fulfill the graduation requirements and are interesting, too.
Check with the Guidance Counselor of the school. The class may be set at Grade 11 because of the course work involved. But, if you are good student, you may be able to get in (Sophomore year, maybe?) Also, the class size may be limited as well.

It depends. Some classes are restricted by grade; others are open to all grades (such as Ceramics or Dance), or open to anyone who has completed the requisite classes (need to pass Algebra before you can take Geometry, for example).
If the course has a specific grade listed next to it (English 9, English 10, English 11), then it is probably restricted by grade and you will have to wait until that grade to take it. It is required that you take the other courses leading up to it first.

Some course state that only if you are in a certain grade can you then take it. And other courses state that you have to have taken a certain course before being able to take the one that you want.
Such as at my school, if you want to take ceratin Ap classes, you have to be in certain course or if you are a junior or above. It's really annyoign in my opinion.

Your teacher would have to approve of that. Since you're only in 7th grade, and you don't know the answer to your question, I don't think you'd be able to take a class ment for juniors at this point in time. You could take it when you're unior though.
