You need to talk to your sister and tell her that this is not necessarily normal and although it might not be anything serious, she needs to be seen by a doctor. As a concerned older sister, you can be there for support and encouragement, but you (and your sister) need to let your Mom know.
Vaginal discharge can be the result of a few different conditions, but it often indicates some sort of infection. Most of these infections can be easily treated with antibiotics. Since this has been a problem for your sister for a substantial amount of time, I would suggest that the sooner she sees a doctor the better. It is probably nothing serious, but the sooner she addresses the problem, the better she and you will feel.
You can comfort her by letting her know that she doesn't need to be embarrassed or uncomfortable in discussing the situation with a doctor. They are there to help and are trained to be sensitive to the concerns of their patients. If she is nervous, maybe you can go with her to the doctor?
Either way, please encourage your sister to discuss her situation with someone that she feels comfortable with and trusts and to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
Good luck and all the best.

No there isnt a problem! I get this myself, im 14 and have experienced this since 13. She just started experiening this very early! Usualy girls dont get this until 15 or 16, after theyve started there period. But as long as it isnt itchy or realy smelly then shes fine! Its called discharge and its the vaginas way of keeping itself 'fresh and clean' even though it seems unclean! Its cleaning itself out :) It can be clear or yellowish. However ifit is realy dark yellow you should consult a doctor :) It could happen everyday or just now and then. If it is almost a constant flow or happens very often and thickly consult a doctor! Please advise her to tell her mother anyway as she is most likely to have experienced this herself aswell and can offer advice! Remember your mother was your age once aswell! Hope ive helped :) good luck xox

Vaginal discharge is normal to have and it can be yellow in the weeks before a period actually comes. But if there is a smell too that definitely should be checked out by a doctor.
Please tell your sister that she should discuss this with her mom as well as her doctor.

this could be normal, as long as she is not experiencing pain or itching. Is it allot of discharge? and is it everyday?
your sister idea of smelly maybe not as bad as one would think. the slight hint of a vinegar scent is quite normal. If it continues she should definately mention it to your mom ao they can moniter it together
Good Luck

Sounds like normal puberty discharge. SHe is fine but she needs to learn how to talk more openly with your mother about female things so she is comfy discussing these things in case other problems arise.
