Even Bush says there was no connection. Fact is
Hussein hated the religious extremists and Bin Laden especially.

There exists evidence that Iraqi intelligence officers met with al Qaeda representatives. And there is the fact that after the invasion of Afghanistan, al Qaeda operatives did go to Iraq for safe haven. Nobody has claimed that Osama and Saddam ever had any meeting or agreement, but it is true that at times they did have a mutual enemy - the US.
As for Iraq's WMD, while the UN observers did verify the destruction of some of the WMD and WMD delivery systems (shells, missiles, etc) Saddam had inventories of, they were unable to verify the destruction of all of it, including the contents of those locations which Saddam prevented them from inspecting.
What was never verified as being destroyed was the VX nerve agent that Iraq had been trying to produce. This is some very bad stuff.
By the way, all this info about WMD can be found at the UN website: http://www.un.org

Bin Laden and Hussein--No.
That Iraq had WMD and was trying to get more. 95% of the world believed this INCLUDING the leading Democrats. Or did you have your head up your backside when they were all saying (including Ted Kennedy) Saddam must go. Of course ALL those Democrats say they didn't. That or they were mislead.

Just curious, does it matter what anybody thinks? Whatever happened then is over and there were no WMD found, maybe they never existed.
If that is true is the war over?
Is everyone killed and maimed back to life and healthy?
Is Bush no longer president?
Fact is Hussein is dead and that is a good thing for Iraq.
Ossama bin hidin' and likely will never be found and is being slowly replaced by newcomers from cells that spring up around the world. So what does it matter what anyone believes? What you (or I) believe, or don't, makes absolutely no difference in what happened.

I believe they had WMD's because I have seen them use them in wars in the past. When you advertise you are coming to look for something for months before you do it kinda gives the bad guy time to move his stuff. We have spent years trying to find Bin Laden and have had no success, why are WMD's hiding so unbelievable. As far as a connection, there probably wasn't, but who cares... Do you honestly believe for a second that if provided the opportunity to harm the USA Iraq under Saddam would not have jumped on it? If you support any nation that hates the USA than you need to move out.

I believe Bin Laden played an integral part in 9/11. Yes, Iraq did have WMD's but when you report inspections 3-4 months before you get over there it defeats the purpose.

Funny, they found a cache of 500 Sarin shells in Iraq, after Hussein claimed he didn't have em.
Oh, wait, those don't count, do they? They were old.
Of course, it does prove Hussein was lying about having them, and it does prove Hussein had the intent to maintain WMDs and it does prove we were right to invade.
Nah, they don't count, right?

Well, theer is this guy who wanders our street, digging in trash cans (even though he lives in a $350,000 house) who mutters about chemical weapons and Saddam, but then, he also thinks we live in Hawaai, when in fact, we're in Pennsylvania.
He also thinks GWB is god. No, really, he prays to him. WE just tell him "Rummy, go back to your house nad play with your missile" and that usually send him packing.

Oh yes, there are still many out there who think Iraq attacked us on 911. And you wonder why they rest of the world think of us as obese fools.
