I'm having some trouble with audio on my HP Pavilion zv5255us laptop.
The sound card/audio does work so I know it's not a problem with the drivers, but I can only get sound when I apply pressure to the laptop, usually near the headphone jack. This happens when trying to listen through the speakers and through headphones. I've recently bought a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Amigo to help the situation and it does work perfectly with headphones but I don't think there's a way to have it work through my laptop speakers. As I travel a lot I don't want to have to buy external speakers to listen to audio without headphones but I am willing to do this if necessary. I should also note that I will by buying a new laptop in about a year so I don't want to make any costly repairs/upgrades on this laptop.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
