Hi there,
In order to get married in Las Vegas, you need to secure a marriage license from the state of Nevada. If you're in Las Vegas, you can go to the Clark County Marriage Bureau located at 201 Clark Ave. The cost is $55 cash and you will need 1 form of I.D., a driver's license, passport, or birth certificate. There are no blood tests or waiting periods. The process of getting your license takes around 20 minutes, but there can be lines. So allow 1 to 2 hours, in case you walk in during a busy period. Once you secure your license, you're ready to get married at any of the chapels in Las Vegas.
As for applying for the license online through the county's site, at best, you can fill out the application & bring it with you, you are not actually applying online. But it's one less thing to do when you arrive.

you go to the Marriage Licence Bureau in Las Vegas with i.d. and $55 cash and pick up your lcience then and there. You're then free to get married in any of the chapels.

If you contact a wedding chapel they will arrange for a limo to pick you up at your hotel, take you to get your license and then to the chapel for the wedding. My limo driver even walked inside with us and helped us fill out the form. This is the best part .... you use a pencil not a pen to fill out and sign the form. How permanent is that?

Yes you need a license to get married & the chaples do not take care of it!!! I live here & got married here. You walk in & they give it to you right there. I took about 1/2 hour to get mine. The both of you have to be there. It was 55.00$
