It seems to me that our national obsession with political correctness and "diversity in the workplace" is very overrated and frequently counterproductive. Am I wrong in thinking that until we are blind to people's differences, our efforts at social engineering will call more attention to what we are trying to overcome? What I would give to go back to a time when American didn't have self doubt and had never heard of EEO/harassment training. Any thoughts?

Spoken like a true closet racist with a false sense of entitlement.

LMAO at "What I would give to go back to a time when American didn't have self doubt and had never heard of EEO/harassment training." That time would suck for blacks and other minorities, but that doesn't matter to you, now does it? Of couuuurse not.

America is probably the closest any one has gotten to a classless society. My ancestors came here 150 years ago with only their clothes on their backs, and a bit of daring to leave family and friends thousands of miles behind. They felt the discrimination of the existing residents. But they had Hope.

That tradition of giving Hope to the poor must stay in America if we truly want to live up to our ideals.
