Feature a different tourist or vacation spot on each program, include descriptions of the most interesting sites, hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. Guided tour info., museums, parks, historic and landmarks and admission prices, including off season. Interviews with local officials, shopkeepers,etc. Play music and describe costumes or clothing worn by locals. Sample air fare or rail travel rates, as well as distance from NYC, etc. Offer call in answers from listeners and brochures available on request. Last, have a really good looking host! And you got a star!

There is a show called travel today that is all about travelling, but it's pretty boring as it's mainly focused towards rich bastards w/ nothing better to do than buy 50 dollar shot glasses from singapore. I'd like to see a tourist show that offers budget activities and accomodations, things to do w/ kids, couples, not just the usual boring "museums, zoos, and baseball games". How about including real events the locals enjoy and things that actually reflect where you are visiting, not just descriptions w/ statues in a room. Music wise behind each segment you could play whatever is topping the charts where you are discussing, Id rather hear that than that stupid "Roam" song by the B-52's.

There are strange phenomena that have be known to occur that might be related. I believe that it has something to do with the magnetic field of the earth. Certain sounds or images have been known to get trapped in specific location due to magnetic phenomena that are not well understood. These "natural recordings" are often mistaken for ghosts or spirits. I do not know too much about the physics but it is something that I have heard of before.
