Any Honda dealer can make you a key based on your VIN number. It can be expensive as Honda keys usually are "secure keys" and have remote control built-in. Give them a call.

EDIT
VIN NUMBER is on the dashboard on the driver side near where windshield meets the dashboard.

Don't know about your Honda, but most domestic vehicles have the vin# on the rear of the driver door or the pillar behind the front door as well as on the left front dash down near the bottom of the windshield where it can be viewed from the outside. If you have your title, it will be on there also. When your husband goes to fussing, remind him it's likely he's screwed up a time or two himself and that you intentionally lost the key so that he'd have something to fuss about and you'd have the hassle and expense of getting a copy made. He needs to grow up and realize that stuff happens and complaining isn't going to change anything, better he spend his energy constructively.

the vin # is located on the driver side front dash by the windshield. I think honda has roadside assistance. if it does the phone # is on one of the windows. Your honda should still be covered under the honda warranty unless it has more than 36,000 miles on it. you can also call honda customer service, give them the vin # and the should be able to give you the key code. then you give the code to the dealer and they will make you a new key-not cheap. the selling dealer has the key code but that isn't helpful.

Newer Cars are good but they suck too, because of this coded key thing. You need to go to a Honda dealer Parts and Service Dept and let them get the VIN number from the truck and then they can order a new set for you. BUT>>> it cost $$$! from $200.+ per key because of the chip they installed in the key grip, so that the key will only unlock start your truck. But check in your area, if there are Lock and key companies that can do new keys and recoding if they have access to this type of vehicle supplied to them by the dealer.

Lock places or even a honda dealer would be able to make you a key. The only thing is that you would need to have to car towed to the dealership or lock store. They are able to use your lock to make you a key that you would need. Make sure you call around for prices, because it is not cheap to do. I only have one key and if I lose it, it will cost me $400 to replace (it has a computer chip in it). Good luck and make sure to make yourself a spare key next time!

Are you sure they are lost? Or are they locked inside your vehicle? If you suspect they might be in the truck, call a tow company to unlock your car. That costs about $45. If you rembember having your keys to lets say, unlock your front door or to get in at work then i suggest you call your local Honda dealership and see what they can do for you.

So sorry to hear of your problem. If you can't get a spare from the dealer, then you'd have to get the key from the Main Supplier. I don't know but you may be able to get help from the key duplicating shop. I heard they have a gadget, something like a master key for opening all types of door and that they can make copies for your truck after they have opened the door. I don't know how much it'll cost you.

Call a dealer, give them the VIN & they will be able to make a key for you. The key is coded from the VIN. They should ask you for ID before they give you the key. It doesn't matter if you bought the car there or not.
