I don't care how much you get use to dancing, jumping or whatever it is, it will still affect your voice. All of you should realize they are using recorded soundtracks of their songs. You still have a few who give live performances-but only a few. Todays young entertainers care more about showing off and who has the most dance moves or in the cases of Beyonce-Shakira, Britney, and so on. The most provacative and sexy moves and who can show more of their body. Beyonce has flashed pretty good here lately-so she is giving Britney a run for the money. But they don't really seem to care about giving their fans a real honest concert and I guess this younger generation don't care. They are too busy watching the moves instead of listening to the song.

Same here! I love to sing and dance but I cannot seem to do both at the same time. I assume just practice. I would figure a few years. A lot of singers lip sing so that makes it easier. Hope I Helped ^^

I've noticed that alot with Hannah Montana, no offense to her Im sure shes talented and all, but I have noticed that, alot of those record their songs and then perform them on stage to the recording, it doesn't mean they cant sing it just makes for a better show, but I think that real performances without the recordings are so much better. The Jonas Brothers do rock! and the Cheetah Girls may have done the whole recording thing because one of their key members was Raven Symone and she left them. Good question though,

Its all about getting used to the constant dancing and jumping.

I suggest listening to NSYNC sing live. They dance their butts off while singing their butts off. Its amazing they never run out of breath. And their dancing is HARD.
The Cheetah Girls don't have hard dancemoves/choreography, so it wouldn't take as much breath and energy. The Jonas Brothers, on the other hand, doesn't need energy. They could just stand there. But if YOU jump, you don't get exhausted right?

most singers have a background track playing when they sing so they can mouth the words at any time. If you listen to some people live and they sing " extra " little harmony parts you can hear the regular

jumping around and moving across the stage isn't really dancing.. but that does get tiring too.
uh.. i would like to say that the people i love all sing live but you never know for sure
All i know is that someone who doesn't jump around or dance should sing live.
