Ask local your Mechanic who can to take a look at it to see what caused the problem on what caused your steering wheel fluid to leak.

My friend had an old toyota and would literally spew steering fluid out as soon as you put it in. I turned the bolt literally one quarter of a turn and it stopped completely, not even a drip. My only guess is that is under very high pressure.
