Well , I really wouldn't advise it, twisting is the most serious damge that you can do to a bad disc, I have three and mosh dancing is the worse thing I ever did, let me put it to you this way, unless you are soaring on a percocet you will feel any strain you do to yourself and you will really know it in the morning.

This is something you need to ask your orthopedic doctor and not someone on here. Call your ortho doc and talk to his nurse about this.

I feel sure you should ask your doctor. It might be considered good exercise, but it might also be detrimental. I would hate for you to do permanent damage.
