I just bought a intel DP35DP motherboard which has a 24 pin molex power connector. for a power supply I bought a cooler master extreme 500w atx12 v1.02 20+4 power supply. How do you connect the 20+4 connectors to the mother board? It has a 20 pin standard atx and a 4 pin molex connectors bundeled togrther + a 4 pin connector 2x, and 6 pin pcix16 connector as well as the usual drive connectors. Thanks!

the 20+4 all goes to the main power slot all together...there is another 4 pin by the cpu, which also get plugged in...

the 6 pin's are for either graphics cards and/or a different mother board configuration then you have (you will not need them for this board).

The 20+4 connector is so someone with a 20pin board can take the end off and use it. You want to keep it intact and use all 24 pins of course. There should be a square 4 pin connector on the board usually under the power supply. That socket powers the cpu. If its 8 pins hook both 4 pin connectors from psu in.
