It means you both agree to still have your difference of opinions and won't let it be a problem between you. You're just accepting the fact that you don't have to agree.

If you are in a dilemma about a certain item that you want to purchase..example a built in kitchen..and you and your significant other do not agree on the price and the seller wants to help out your partner will tell you to down the price or disagree with the raise in price level. So you both agree to disagree on a charge increase and the seller has no option than to back down or you back out of the deal entirely.

It's basically like you're agreeing that there is a problem and neither one of you is going to back down and/or compromise. Since you can't agree on anything else regarding this situation, you'll agree that you guys can't come to an agreement. This usually works for politics, or who's better at doing something...etc.
It's not really common when you HAVE to come to a decision about something...

If we agree to disagree then when we are disagreeing, we are actually agreeing so technically agreeing to disagree is impossible. Same with this statement: Everything I say is a lie.

It means that each of you are adamant about your opinion or answer & that neither person can be swayed to come around to the other person's opinion or answer. So, therefore, you agree to disagree as the disagreement is moot.

No ingredient in arguing, enable's flow away it at that regardless of having diverse evaluations. that's what they want you to think of, besides...they relatively want you to drop your gaurd so as that they hit you with a candle stick and rown you in a shower bath. i've got gained many a controversy this way. It means you should respect the fact that you each have strong valid opinions and are not apt to change them so there's no point in making things unpleasant by continuing the argument.
