They ask a question on Y!A and then don't go back to check and rate the answers they get. Why? Does it bother you too?

You're right. Only the questioner should rate the answer, not a silly person who thinks that 1+1=3.

I always try to check my answers. But sometimes real life gets in the way. A family of six and one computer. Vacation. Sometimes just spending time with the family
It stinks when you leave a great answer and it just hangs in the void.
such is life.

Yeah i have a question on there now but i always look and rate the people cause some just lose what common sense they have and some are down right rude if u answer one of their questions and they dont like the answer u gave them. so i have been there but if u want to answer mine then go for it . it is on family and relationships in family part and read it and please answer it if u want thanks and i am going to star u ...

You usually get an email in your inbox stating that you might want to extend the deadline, and I'm sure that happens sometimes. Otherwise, we can all vote for the best answer.

For me, it depends on how much free time i have that day/week. I try my best to go back and rate, pick best answer, but sometimes it's just not possible.
