I had a weird dream, and in my dream i saw that Mercury was once earth it had life on it. I saw that the sun worked as a portal, the sun was getting closer and closer to Mercury and sucked it in and destroyed everything that lived, then earth came and grew life. And i saw that we are getting closer to the sun and maybe it might happen the same way it did Mercury. And then Mars will become the new earth. Thats why NASA is so interested in Mars and doing so much studies so they can be the first to live on Mars. But it wont work that way, because we are the aliens to the aliens on Mars lol. So does anyone think its possible that Mercury was once earth and had life on it?.

The sun is big and hot and close to mercury. The pull of the suns gravity draws objects toward it and Mercury blunders into the path. Many, Many Asteroids have hit Mercury so it could not have been Evan somewhat like earth more like the moon being close to earth draws objects because it is close to a larger object. Stripping any chance of an atmosphere. and way to small for gravity

NO. By the way you forget the planet Venus in your dreams. If so it is Venus turn to get it sucked by the Sun, so dont worry about our planet Earth now. Have sweet dreams!

Mix M, Mercury is only "literally" hot on the sunward side of the planet. On Mercury's night-time side, the temperature plummets to hundreds of degrees below zero.

No, but popular theory by scientists holds that the moon was once part of earth and broke off, but did not escape earth's gravity.

No, its too close to the sun, has no water, a weak atmosphere, so no. It was just a dream
