Many just dismiss the good argument that you present and call you a commie, socialist, stupid, say that you are on welfare etc. I have a job, I pay taxes, I would NEVER burn an American flag, I follow laws, I went to college, I am not a communist or socialist along with many other liberals. Why do Conservatives say these unreasonable things that are not true about moderate liberals? Sure there are some crazy, extremist left wing nut jobs out there just as there are some crazy, extremist left wing nut jobs. I am a liberal but it does not mean I believe in being lazy or uneducated. I support Israel, I do not want illegal aliens in our country, conspiracy theorist or a flag burner. People who make stereotypes like that tear this country apart.

It's a political campaign tactic called 'defining'.
Karl Rove tied a bunch of far-left attributes to moderate Democrats in an attempt to redefine his own candidates far right position as moderate.
They also have run a campaign against moderate Republicans, calling them RINO's (Republican in Name Only).

it is all some of them have or maybe they hate America. those types are only here for the points and don't care how they get them. there are also those on the lib side that do the same.
