Cd's are much more convenient (try playing vinyl in your car)
But at home the vinyl has a much richer sound. Too bad you can't get the same sound from CD's,,, maybe a program such as a vinyliser could be made,,,,lol

Technicaly the CD is better (try using a record player in your car!) However there is a lot of good music on vinyl that may never get put on CD's (or at least no time soon). I have both and listen to both!

vinyl for sure...that is how they first came up and the best songs first came out only on vinyls...when music was good...although cds are new and improved..and much smaller...lol...im only 21 years old..my parents rasied me on some of my favorite music....BOB SEGER!!!...ACDC!!! GUNS AND ROSES!!!!and many more but cant think right now... only the group of people with a collection of vinyls can really enjoy this kind of music as it was supposed to be...on vinyls...lol

people who are convinced that vinyl sounds better are hallucinating. High sample-rate mp3 is the way to go unless you want to be pointlessly chained to your home listening setup.

There is even a Winamp plug-in that will make mp3's sound like vinyl through the miracle of digital signal processing. Of course the vinyl fiends claim it doesn't work....

Vinyl for this old guy. CD's sound rather "flat". Vinyl has more depth. ;-)=

Are you people on crack?! Vinyl delivers a much richer and deeper sound if you set it up right.
