Going to Mirage hotel and casino in November, (mainly going to run the marathon, but my boyfriend wants to have a little flutter) trouble is I am not really a dressing up type of person.(tend to live in jeans and t-shirts) When I go out I would wear a nice shirt and cords or some thing.(never worn heals in my life) I have a limited budget and we are going for 10 nights. What will I need please? I am not sure about the weather either? Can I wear nice sandals with naked legs? Thank You.

Most of the time it is temperate in Las Vegas in November but as it is the desert it gets cold at night. I go every Thanksgiving for a week and find that I get by most of the time in comfortable clothes and have a light to medium jacket available. You will see people in dresses and suits in LV and also people in T-Shirts and jeans. During the marathon there will be a lot of people around in T-shirts and jeans wearing running shoes. You might want to consider a long sleeve t-shirt to start the marathon (one you can throw away) wear a short sleeve or sleeveless underneath and throw the long sleeve away during the run. (I have done this often in marathons)
The Average highs in November are 60s to low 70s and lows in high 30s to 40s.

Too cold for sandals most of the time and comfortable shoes are best as there is a lot of walking.

When going out at night nicer but casual clothes are in order most places in town.

Have a great time in Las Vegas

Good Luck in the marathon

I lived in Vegas most of my life (altho I moved away 3 years ago) There really isnt a dress code there, there are a few high $ places that require ties and so forth but in general the locals wont care how your dressed, they only care about your tips! If your a jeans and t-shirt kind of person as I am, you wouldnt want to go anywhere that requires a dress code anyways. Also there is no reason to ever spend more than 10-12 a meal at the very most. Food isnt where the casino's make their money. There are sooo many cheap eats up and down the strip and even in the "downtown" area. Just be sure not to go off the main streets no matter where you go. Make sure to use any coupons your given too, the casino's and eaterys love when people use them. Have fun, enjoy the strip and all that it has to offer, you dont even have to gamble to have fun. Wish I was going home with ya! good luck on the race. Your boyfriend can take you to "spagos" in Ceasars for about 50-75 for ya both.

Unless you plan on going to a really posh dinner & show place, basically anything you want to wear will fit right in. Nice sandals w/bare legs, standard attire most places - November can be chilly out on the high desert, however, so take some coverups [the 'layered look' type of thing] so you can mosey around up & down the Strip without freezing and then take off the top layer when you go inside again. Take one skirt & a couple of tops that are a little dressy and you should be able to spend the rest of the time in jeans & shirts. Everyone else is casual too. Hit the thrift shops between now and Nov.!

Wear whatever you are comfortable in however, make sure you wear comfortable shoes... Sandals are fine as long as you can walk in them for extended periods. I would bring a nice sun dress or something a bit dressy in case you go to dinner or a nice show.. Oh and it gets HOT there ! So, maybe a nice halter/tank tops with a demin skirt or nice shorts would be a good idea... You don't have to wear heels.. Just a nice pair of sandals. Or even dressy flip flops.. Just be sure you are comfy.. In NOV. the weather may be a bit cooler.. Look the weather up online.. We were there in Sept. we got married there and it was still high 80's ! Good luck

The Mirage has no dress code. Most places don't. However, some of the really upscale places will treat you better if you are wearing nicer clothes. I have found that if I wear normal casual clothes, you will be treated indifferent. If you dress nicer, the employees, overall, will be friendlier.

In an upscale place like the Mirage, you might feel out of place if you are wearing really old clothes. If you are going to wear simple clothes, I would suggest clothes that are not worn out, not wrinkled, and clean. You don't have to go all out, butI think you should at least try to look nice.

I have family that lives in Vegas and it is HOT!!!!! THe sandal with shorts sound good. But you dont need a million dollar dress or anything. If you go out for dinner wear a simple skirt and a nice shirt and dress it up with asserories. (i cant spell that well)
Hope this helps! :)

Things are pretty casual in Vegas unless you are going to the clubs and upper scale resuarants. There you have to dress up. A lot require button shirts and slacks for guys. Nice outfits for the ladies. NO SHORTS or flip flops.

There really is no dress code. Wear what ever is comfortable to you. If you plan to eat in any of the nicer restaurants bring a nice pants outfit or sundress. You don't need stockings or heels. Have fun.

Listen dont dress to impress becouse you feel you have to. No one is going to look down on you coz you dressed casual! dress comfy theres alot of money out there but the only women in high heels and skirts that dont come down past their necks are either hookers or after a rich "cowboy" your obviously not, so relax and enjoy yourself hope you have a nice holiday..

Jeans and t shirts will do just fine. You might not be able to get into some of the swankier restaurants but everywhere else will be OK
