If given the choice, it's a no brainer. We'd probably all rather be rich.
Then again, if we were given the option of being rich and sickly or poor and healthy, the answer would change.
There are only a a very fortunate few who are rich and healthy and happy and content and serene.

I honestly believe both has it's advantages.
Being poor you can learn humility, and also learn that you can be happy with the simplest of things.
Being rich without the above, doesn't make for a good person. Having money can relieve some of the stresses in life, but it can also add to them.
Just be rich in goodness.

If given only those two choices, I am gonna have to go with rich. I have done the really poor thing & it wasn't easy at all. Try going without food for days at a time....

I am in the middle. More towards rich. I would never want to be poor, because I never have been!

I would rather be steady. Not rich and not poor because rich people are snobby and selfish and poor people tend to be homeless and can't take care of themselves.

Rich of course. I already know what it's like to be poor. A change of atmosphere would be nice.
