Since leaving my pediatrician about 3 years ago, I've just gone to doctors provided on my college campus. I have scheduled an appointment with a new GP for next week. I've had quite a few health problems in the past and have been to a few specialists (ear/nose/throat, uralogist, cardiologist etc.) for quite a good period of time. Would it be best to bring those old records or just make a list of every 'problem' I've had in the past?

Thanks :)

Bring whatever info or health records you have. The best way for your doctor to get to know you and your health background is with those records. He will need those to give you the best care possible.

Make a copy of the records. Then mail a set to the office so they will have them before the doctor sees you.
When you go, you will also be asked to fill out a form about your previous medical history.
If you are taking medications, bring a list of them and you can attach it to the form instead of writing them all down again.

Your old doctor will be able to provide them for you. Or at least release them to the new doctor.

I would think that it would be helpful to the new doc to have them anyway.

Yes; bring all your medical records...as well as if you go to a new dentist...bring all your dental records...and so forth.
