their bills?

Do you know anyone who spends more than $100 weekly instead of actually putting the money on their bills and now they are behind?

Like they just feel it in their bones that they are gonna get rich but can never even win the free play or free ticket but they keep playing obsessively anyways!

Thats why the lottery makes so much money. Preying on the weak and powerless. Those ppl are addicts. I spend about 5 buck a week on the powerball. If I get lucky cool. If not Im only out about 20 bucks a month. I usually get a ticket when I get gas so I dont really miss it that much. I just roll it over into the price of filling up my tank

i think the lottery is the dumbest thing ever. I feel bad for people that spend hundreds of dollars on that. It's an addiction. They don't realize that the odds are so phenomenal that they will never win that. I don't have family that does that but I've had so many friends tell me they're gonna hit it big with the lottery. It's a shame they think that instead of focusing on what they have right now.

i have an aunt that is the exact same way...she is a freak about gambling in general...she is gonna hit it big one day she sayes...lol...she has one some decent money a few times with bingo and scratch-offs but then she takes all of her winnings and throws in all down the gambling hole...then later that week when she and her family are starving she wonders why there isnt any food...its a bad addiction...but even her knowing about it she cant stop...she easily spends over 100$ a week on lotto and scratch-offs and maybe another 50 for bingo on wednesdays and fridays...its very sad...

I used to work with a lady like that, but she at least used to win some....she'd just spend up whatever little winnings she would get so quickly and the money she'd spend on the tickets didnt equal the amounts she won so she was losing on her "investments" as well

My mom is that exact person and it drives me nuts, maybe instead of buying stupid stuff she could put it towards her bills but she just waits to win the lottery. I shouldn't complain because some of that money she buys me stuff but still her desk is a mess and it is not teaching me any good life lessons.

I spend $4 a week on the lottery. And yes, it is the only thing that will save me if things don't get better soon.

I've never purchased a lottery ticket,,the odds are way too great. I have a sister tho' who just knows one day she'll win..and she buys everyone a ticket for Christmas..

Some people just don't realize the odds..
