Land's End carries a wide range of tough, durable backpacks. You may also try checking the Pro Bass shops or an Army/Navy type store. Hope you find what you are looking for.

I recommend Tracker backpacks. They have a whole new line this season. I got mine. I always trust my Tracker backpack because it holds really heavy books. A lot of people buy Jansport or Dickies because they're small, but they really don't hold much. I got my Tracker backpack for $20.00. Good luck..

My daughter has had a LL Bean pack since she started middle school. She is now a Junior in college and the pack is still in use. It costs quite a bit more, but for the longevitiy of the product, is well worth every cent.

Most backpacks rip because they are crappy "school" packs.

If yours is ripping all the time then you should get an actual outdoors type pack.

REI has some sweet ones.

If you're gonna use it for school don't get a jumbo external frame one though, cause you'll just look goofy as hell.
